My Company, reorganised: insurers, practices and clients in one place

360Claims Team

When 360Claims launched, insurers were practically the only type of client that practices managed within the platform. The product has evolved considerably since then. Today a practice can manage work coming from insurance companies, other firms, brokers or directly from private individuals. It was time for **My Company** to reflect that reality.

The new Clients group

Within My Company, the entities the team works with are now grouped under the **Clients** section, with three distinct options.

**Insurers** retains all its functionality: areas, handlers, products, coverages, templates, automations and specific fee schedules. What changes is simply its location in the menu, which is now inside the Clients group rather than appearing at the top level.

**Practices / Brokers** is the section for managing other firms or brokers that send you work. Default assignments are configured here and, most importantly, **which case file modules are available** for each client. If a specific firm does not need its case files to show the billing section, or if a particular broker never uses preliminary reports, you can now disable those sections for that specific relationship. The result is a cleaner case file, adapted to each client's actual workflow.

The configurable modules are eleven: reception, management, billing, communications, visits, valuations, texts, pre-existences, attachments, preliminary reports and final reports.

**Clients** covers individuals or private entities that contract the practice's services directly. Their details (name, tax ID, contact, address) are stored and available to associate as billable parties in case files without having to enter them each time.

Subcontracting at the main menu level

At the same level as the other My Company options — not inside Clients — you will find **Subcontracting**: the section for managing relationships with other practices to which you delegate work as a supplier. This distinction is intentional: Subcontracting is the operational counterpart of Practices/Brokers. While in Clients you receive work, in Subcontracting you delegate it.

Why this reorganisation matters

Having all the context of a case file well structured in the platform — who the client is, which sections they see, who manages the work and under what conditions — reduces operational friction and configuration errors. The new My Company structure does not change existing functionality, but it makes it much easier to find what you need and understand which part of the workflow you are configuring at any given moment.
